A dozen Democrats are calling for action on global warming because it might cause women to become hookers.
Is there nothing global warming can’t do? A dozen Democrats are calling for action on global warming because it might cause women to become hookers.
I shouldn’t be surprised by this idiocy. These are the same politicians that voted for Obamacare without even reading the bill.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

“World ends: women, minorities hardest hit.”
This is a textbook example of fiddling while Rome burns, made all the more egregious because they address a ‘problem’ that doesn’t actually exist.
I’m sick of these fools.
This can only be deliberate, meant to distract from the enormous scandals of Obamacare, unemployment, gun violence in the inner cities, Fast and Furious, Benghazi and now the Boston bombers. Why else would the White House, including both Obamas, call attention to the non-event of an NBA player coming out? Make no mistake, we are in a civil war for control of America. If we lose this fight we lose our country.
Control of the country has been decided; the 2012 election showed that. If history is any guide, we’re going to see a steadily declining standard of living until things get bad enough that those who subsist on government largesse turn on their benefactors. It’s not going to be pretty.
The counter-argument to this this bit of nonsense is – Breaking News: Global warming may cause total loss of libido in men!
Heh.
