One reason why I moved from Maryland: A legal gunowner gets abused by the police because he’s a legal gun owner.

What do expect from a state that’s as corrupt as Chicago.

“John is wondering if he shouldn’t just cancel his CCW license.” Please do not do that. The bad guys win when you cave to this thuggery.

This article is a good answer to students who always say iif you’re not doing anything wrong why should it matter.

Are we missing the pertinent component of this story?

The police in another state is scanning license plates on an interstate highway and stopping people based on accessing personal information, not related to a persons automobile, inspection or drivers license, that must be held by a central computer system. Too much? Is it reasonable that they have access to that information not related to his/your auto or drivers license information?
