A refurbished Russian rocket engine, to be used by the Antares rocket, failed during tests

A refurbished Russian rocket engine, to be used by the Antares rocket, failed during tests on Thursday.

This report says that the engine might even have exploded firing the test firing.

    Wonder if its the engine had a defect all along, the decades of storage are catching up with them, or if the mentioned Aerojet modifications were done badly?

    Been hearing Aerojets not as good as they used to be.
