They admit that the odds are not good that the attempt will work, but they are going to give it chance anyway.

    Let me get this straight; The multi-year planet locating program set us back 650 million…and Obama gives billions to Egypt. Huh…If we, as a species, would use our talents to pursue more meaningful goals, we would be ON those planets by now – not still looking at them!
