Head Start teachers expect Obamacare to severely impact their work and income.
Finding out what’s in it: Head Start teachers now expect Obamacare to severely impact their work and income.
What’s not to like? Obamacare’s got everything: Complex regulation, big fines, and high cost, all rolled up in a single package that just keeps surprising us.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

The federal government involving itself in my personal health with mandates, fees and the threat of jail should is an unconstitutional search. The one thing everyone truly owns is their body and well-being.
Repeal Obamacare in toto.
I would lay heavy odds that every one of the people complaining about this legislation voted Democrat ‘for the children’. The Head Start employees own the problem. It doesn’t help their case that study after peer-reviewed study shows that Head Start has no long-term effect on academic performance.
In other Oregon news, mandated increases in spending for the state public employee pension fund are forcing cuts in public school budgets. Some high school classes where I live have 35 – 40 pupils. Now the state is going to the voters later this month to ask for more money ‘for the children’. It’ll be interesting to see if Oregonians are fed up yet.
You only have a right to your body it seems when getting an abortion.
Research indicates Head Start doesn’t work for the purpose intended. It’s just federal daycare.
A federal program exercising frugality? Shocking.
