Justice Dept ends IRS investigation with no charges
Working for the Democratic Party: The Obama Justice Department has decided to file no criminal charges against anyone, including Lois Lerner, in the IRS scandal.
I was going to label this a whitewash in the headline, but decided to leave that conclusion to my readers. This quote from the article however should help you decide whether it was a whitewash:
Some Republicans have questioned the validity of the probe from the beginning, after learning that one of the Justice Department lawyers assigned to the investigation was a contributor to Mr. Obama’s political campaigns. [emphasis mine]
So, Lerner and the IRS conspire with the Obama administration from 2010 to 2012 to squelch the ability of conservatives to organize and raise funds prior to the 2012 election. The result: Obama wins, and the Republicans fail to win the Senate. Afterward the Democrats shrug their shoulders, say they shouldn’t have done it, but it wasn’t really bad anyway.
The worse part will be the number of reporters and media folk who will rally to the Democrats for this corrupt use of government power to crush their political opposition.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

When there is no or slanted justice, the people cry without hope!
Imagine how the next 13 months will go, Obamas finally should be pretty disturbing, and the Republican leadership, whether by their own ignorance or by design has enabled and abetted him throughout it all. Things at this level for the most part do not happen by accident IMO.
The worst thing that might come about from them not filing charges is the fact that the left may now think its legal to do it.
Watch for the leftist reporters to start saying it was all about nothing and those groups needed singling out and delayed.
But the conservatives will again have power and then they will cry to the moon if we do the very same thing back.
Its their biggest fear.
Remember that we are their enemy.
They will be treating us that way and so we should be on our guard for it.
Now that a politician has said it out in public the”common” people will feel its Ok to go ahead and do something against the conservatives that they would have thought about twice just a week ago.
If she(the Hill Beast) wins don’t be surprised if they start protesting on conservative politicians front lawns and getting violent about it.
Scare them into hiding before they even get to higher office.
The USA is now officially a banana republic.
