I can’t wait for November. I just hope the defeat is crushing enough so that even the “intellectuals” will get it.
I can’t wait for November, either. Politics and all its trappings will be submerged in the pursuit of a greater good: The Breeders Cup Classic.
There are no intellectuals in horse racing. Only $2 mobs of the great unwashed—looking to become $4 mobs. I will be there for the scrubbing.
A new Party will need to emerge. The Democrats and Republicans have each had their chance on the stage and have not delivered.
I suspect a radical new moderate leader will need to arise and shock the status quo.
Who will lead the unscrubbed masses into the Promised Land?
Alas, Obama will not. However, Zenyatta will be standing up proudly for females everywhere.
