New evidence that Lois Lerner released confidential taxpayer information illegally

Working for the Democratic Party: In her effort at the IRS to harass conservatives and anyone opposing the Democratic Party, newly released documents now suggest that Lois Lerner broke the law when she provided more than a million pages of confidential taxpayer information in 2010 to the Obama Justice Department.

Hmm. The Democratic Party calls for the nullification of the first, second, and fifth amendments of the Bill of Rights. Its allies in the IRS and Justice Department team up to illegally access confidential tax records of their opponents, for the purpose of possibly prosecuting those opponents. Furthermore, this same party is advocating the prosecution of companies who disagree with them on the subject of global warming.

Seems there might be a pattern here. Seems this political party is hell bent on oppressing those who oppose it. Seems this behavior is kind of like the behavior of the fascists in Europe in the 1930s. Maybe that suggests they might have a lot in common?

Nah, can’t be true. They care about us, and that’s all that matters!

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

I can agree big time on protecting constitutional rights. The no fly list on the surface is good (if fallowed). No one, regardless of their nationality, should be permitted to advance terrorism. If an American is a jihadist, they should be shot by a firing squad, as a traitor!

How do you protect constitutional rights and keep these buggers off of airplanes, out of stadiums out of anywhere they can blow large groups up?

How do you protect people from a party that is acting like the fascist dems? Personally, I am quite afraid of the liberal movement as it has become!

Folk who live within 60 miles of the Mexican border need to be armed to the teeth and work together. It would be nice if the border patrol and police organizations could be allowed to do the job!!!!!!

Answers (solutions) are needed, not just pointing out problems!

  • Edward

    Phill,
Your point is well taken, but the solutions that are applied are poorly implemented or do not do the job that was advertized.

The No-Fly List is a good idea; keep suspected terrorists off of planes (and out of crowded events, away from other suspected terrorists, etc.), but the List that was implemented was a shotgun approach that struck more than 20 times as many people as there were suspected terrorists.

A terrorist shoots up a gun-free defense-free attack-zone, and the solution is to eliminate guns from the law abiding defenders.

Frankly, many of us here have stated ideas that are not implemented, despite many people around the country pointing out that these ideas are better than the currently applied solutions that fail every time. The problem is not a lack of solutions, it is a lack of willingness on the part of the ruling class oligarchy to stop implementing the failed solutions that they like and begin implementing alternate solutions that have a chance of success.

The problem is (if I can present a different problem as another “the” problem) that the ruling class is either traitorous, or they truly believe that their failed solutions would work, if only they were able to apply even more of their solutions. We heard this in a chorus of “the stimulus did not work because we needed more of it,” or “we need to get the guns out of even more hands.” That the solutions are wrong does not even enter their heads. It is a problem of the ruling class thinking that it is so smart that they could not be wrong (otherwise they would know that they were wrong — that is how smart they are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NK6oGi5g4QE#t=6 — 1/2-minute).

The problem is (there I go again) that to them, it does not matter whether or not they are wrong, they care. Caring is all that matters, not right or wrong. Caring is what they believe We the People need, because so many of us cannot live our lives properly without being cared for, like children who cannot take care of themselves. Indeed, I think that is what most progressives fear: the necessity of being responsible for their own lives and their own actions. It is so much better if mommy and daddy big government does all the caring, thinking, and deciding for them.

After all, we all remember that when we were children, mommy and daddy were always right, and always there, and always took good care of us. Progressives, however, either don’t remember or don’t care about the frustrations they experienced as children when they were not free to do as they pleased and always had to do what mommy and daddy said.

This is the problem: the serf-class progressives and Democrats do not care that they have no freedom, because someone else will make all the right decisions for them. They do not care that the rest of us, the ones able to care for ourselves and make good decisions for ourselves and our own families, are caught up in the net of mollycoddling and would rather be free to live life fully, not live life as someone else’s grown up infant.

We the Freethinkers already have alternate solutions, but we are seen as uncaring, thus we are not allowed to try them and find solutions that truly work.

Nothing will happen until the peoples’ beer, potato chips, and TV’s are taken. Heck we have a crook running for office and nothing is being done as of yet. Why would anyone care about the 1st, 2nd,and 4th Amendments if no one cares about the crooked Clintons.

    All too true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The liberals have won in Canada. It is not good. The ruling class is trying to negate the Brexit vote. What do we do about it? If Hillary gets in, we are all screwed big time; it will be that Bush (as he was) was the last time a conservative will be in office. It says to the world that lying and taking bribes is A OK. Teach that to your kids!!

It now comes what is the effective plan? How do you organize? And internationally, but first to win the Nov. vote? While I think Trump is a shame (Cruz proved he followed through with what he said), he better be supported! He seems to have lost some speaking flare as he is being pushed into a mold that has lost with Romney.

When is Trump going to visit your area? How can we change the minds of brainwashed kids?

  • Garry

    Phill,

I agree with you in the main, but I take issue with your characterization of Bush as a conservative. In my lifetime, the only conservative president we had was Reagan (I was born shortly after JFK was assassinated; in my opinion he was the last conservative before Reagan).

As my brother said with uncharacteristic lack of partisanship, the trend is that the most recent presidents are taking more and more power; it doesn’t make much difference which party they claimed to represent.

  • Phill O

Garry, sorry my sarcasm (on Bush) was so slight. I agree with you on how each president takes more and more power.

How do we (global we) change the trend. Under the British established systems, there are not the checks you have. I truly doubt that the Brexit vote will stand, and so with the Nov vote if Trump gets in.

  • Garry

Sorry, Phill, i’m usually quick to pick up even slight sarcasm.

You have the same fears that I do. I hope that the solution is less drastic and messy than has historically been the case.

We are living out the ancient Chinese curse, “may you live in interesting times.”

  • Phill O

Indeed, we are living in interesting times. However, the future is what we make, even if it is living out our lives in a remote (relatively) desert star studded paradise to avoid a world gone out of control!

Related: You think that a government official using confidential information against her / and her presidents political enemy’s AND there are no consequences for her to be suffered is an outrage? This is just an example of the corruption and abuse of power.

The forced reshaping of our culture by the Left thinking / “politically correct” is disconnecting us further and further from our own common sense.

    http://www.philly.com/philly/education/20160629_Why_police_were_called_to_a_South_Jersey_third_grade_class_party.html

Everyone in education today has become paranoid, to the point that someone in authority would be required or think it appropriate to call the POLICE because a 9 year old child said something about a brownie and another child accuses him of making a “racist” statement.

    1. What has happened to the concept of free speech? and 2. When did it become even an option to call the government / law enforcement to remedy it?

This is an example of the sad state of affairs that has been allowed to be created in America today.

Loretta Lynch meets with Bill Clinton (you know, he is the X president who’s wife is under criminal investigation by Loretta Lynch’s office, she is Obama’s Attorney General) on her plane for a half hour the other day and now it is revealed that her office is moving to have the Clinton Foundation And Slush Fund records withheld until 2018.

    http://dailycaller.com/2016/06/30/exclusive-state-department-wont-release-clinton-foundation-emails-for-27-months/

What did they discuss? “primarily” the grandchildren, although she does not mention secondarily what they spoke about, probably just chit chat. So Lois Learner, Loretta Lynch (there are those repeating initials again, H.W. and now L.L., interesting)

Lois learner, Loretta Lynch, its all the same, team players playing for their team and bending and contorting even to the extent of lawlessness because they very well understand that they exist in the nether world of politics of no real world consequences. For the moment anyway.

  • wayne

    Cotour:
It’s even worse, Bill Clinton appointed Loretta Lynch as a Federal Judge in the 90’s.

  • Cotour

Today I posed the Clinton / Lynch meeting and its inappropriateness of it to a so called Liberal I.D. (Intellectually dishonest) friend of mine and asked whether it mattered to him.

“No, it does not matter” was his reply.

And in addition all he rails on about is the effect of money from the “corporate multinationals” and money in general in politics. But he is unable to make the connection between Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, the literally BILLIONS of dollars that have been loaded into it by those same multinational corporations and foreign country’s. What does he think all of that money is for? Totally blind to it, hence his designation of I.D.

Lets hope there are a lot more of us that are a lot madder at the poles then there are of them over the entire country in November, because if there are not our country will literally go down the rat hole of history.

Phill O (and others) asked: “How do we (global we) change the trend.”

    Milton Freidman had an answer:

So, how do we do *that*?

This goes to the Cruz (crux) of the matter. Trump is being forced by the establishment into something he is not.

Control over the education system is how the liberals have changed things globally. As a former young person, I now see how I was brainwashed by peers.

Islamic terrorism might just be the element that wakes folk up. Combine that with the total disregard for the rule of law shown by the current administration, there could be a revolution. If not, we are doomed to a Fascist type state.
