Opportunity reaches high point on crater rim

The Mars rover Opportunity has climbed to its highest Martian altitude yet, a point on the rim of Endeavour Crater 440 feet above the crater floor below.

This despite the rover’s continuing memory problems.

    “Continuing memory problems”…
    Almost sounds like it climbed up there and now doesn’t remember what it was looking for. Kind of like what I do when I poke around in the attic.
    Have you ever noticed that when you are looking for something, its almost always in the last place you look?

  • Actually, when you find something it is ALWAYS in the last place you look.
