Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation:

4. A Paypal subscription:

5. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

The IRS steals property and cash

Theft by government: The IRS admits to seizing hundreds of thousands of dollars of private assets, without any proof of illegal activity, merely because there is a law that lets them do it.

Using a law designed to catch drug traffickers, racketeers and terrorists by tracking their cash, the government has gone after run-of-the-mill business owners and wage earners without so much as an allegation that they have committed serious crimes. The government can take the money without ever filing a criminal complaint, and the owners are left to prove they are innocent. Many give up and settle the case for a portion of their money. “They’re going after people who are really not criminals,” said David Smith, a former federal prosecutor who is now a forfeiture expert and lawyer in Virginia. “They’re middle-class citizens who have never had any trouble with the law.”

The article describes several specific cases, all of which are beyond egregious and are in fact entirely unconstitutional. The Bill of Rights is very clear about this: The federal government cannot take private property without just compensation.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

    This makes me sick.

    The injustice here is enormous.

Where is the out cry? Where are the pro bono lawyers? Good lord, where is the ACLU?

As I understand it, the IRS works for the federal reserve which is a private Corporation. They have their own judges, courts, and law-enforcement (IRS).
I remember laws being passed with the patriot act which allows them not to be under US law anymore. They are independent entity. Congress cannot touch them. It now has the freedom to be all that it can be. It started out a criminal organization and clearinghouse/money laundry for organizations associated with the federal government. Now it holds the purse strings that are tied to all government agencies and makes them dance to their tune.
This is how property, with the wave of the magic wand, becomes an entity and commits a crime simply by its existence. Money is arrested and confiscated because it is there. The IRS assumes you, or your money, is guilty until proof of its innocence which will cost you a fortune to prove. (Some states and countries are confiscating retirement accounts because they were inactive for more than three years)
Keep in mind, every illegal alien working and paying federal and state taxes in this country with a fake ID and fake social security number is considered “donations” because they are a non-entity In the US. Their employer Is matching plus paying for unemployment tax which is also considered a donation. This is why illegal aliens are only deported by ICE if they’re paid under the table and not paying their protection tax.
THE FEDERAL RESERVE HAS NEVER BEEN AUDITED. Tens to hundreds of billions of dollars flowing in under the radar. Much of it being parceled out to the political parties that feed and support the Federal Reserve and it’s little brother the IRS.
Since the “hanging Chad” all voting machines have been converted to voting computers. Those who own the computers own the election thus insuring the status quo remains constant. Election results are predetermined.
    I know, it’s depressing.
PS. Tax returns come from the treasury, not the Federal Reserve.
