The terrible close-mindedness of the left.
The terrible close-mindedness of the left.
Watch the video below the fold. (The link above also transcribes much of the dialogue if you have trouble hearing it.) It is very disturbing. At the National Young Feminist Leadership Conference a female reporter merely wants to interview attendees, and she gets shunned for only one reason: They discover she is from a “conservative” organization.
The irony of this behavior is completely lost on the conference participants, which proclaimed its “inclusivity” and condemned any behavior that “makes folks feel uncomfortable, threatened, or demoralized.” Moreover, their behavior suggests they know deep down that their positions are indefensible, or else they would be glad to discuss them with their opponents.
Finally, this behavior is terrifying, as it suggests these individuals think their opponents are so evil that they will be willing to do almost anything to shut them up. With beliefs like this, from women being trained as future feminist leaders, the future for freedom in American does not bode well.
On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.
The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.
The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.
"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

I have been harboring this assessment of feminism for some time: their leaders (including Hillary Clinton) are bullies and cowards. Why” They are bullies because they act aggressively only against individuals from whom they perceive no harm, such as the reporter in this video. But they are cowards when it comes to standing up for the rights of women in Muslim countries, where women are in mortal danger for committing such offenses as going to school, speaking out in public, wearing unauthorized clothing — and even driving. And God help them if they attempt to live independent lives. Where are the American feminist leaders when all these outrages are perpetrated? I submit they have become narrow-minded, self-serving minions of the establishment left, and therefore they should be branded as the hypocrites they are.
I posted this earlier today, but just noticed it is not listed. Have I committed some offense?

Talk about bigoted!
Bigots, close minded, exclusionary, elite, stereotyping, just plain old narrow minded and nasty as they enter their meeting in complete safety and comfort. The Star chamber on estrogen, even the ones with testicles.
Yes, I am calling attention to feminism and pointing out how they distinguish themselves. Another honest observation, or my bigotry? More and more women I know are beginning to reject many of the strict rules and biases of feminism. They are not all brain washed by our culture, yes, if they are in college they probably are but some of them are able to shake much of it off.
No offense. The website still has a spam problem with comments, requiring me to manually approve all comments. As I was in Minneapolis today giving a lecture I was only now able to review and approve comments. Thus, this comment is now posted twice, though no harm done.
Eventually I expect this problem to be solved, but until it is, there might be delays in getting everyone’s posts up. Moreover, comments have to close on all posts after three weeks.
You are posting a link to the exact same video that was the original subject post for this comment thread and which I also embedded on Behind the Black. Why? Your link doesn’t add anything new, it only repeats what I already reported on this website.
Yes, I did not realize it was the same. No harm done?
Understood. Thank you for the explanation.
No real harm done, but when you post something like this, it would be proper etiquette as well as good reporting to explain that it is just another report of the same story, just so people know before they click on the link.

They did not have to become that. They are mostly academics, after all. Academic institutions have been whoring themselves to governments with money for *at*least* the last 400 years, when HenryVIII bought the opinions of the Great Universities of Europe, … his marriage to Catherine of Aragon should be annulled. University hierarchs throughout the US and Europe have benefited for over 45 years from donations by rulers of the oil selling ME nations, which rulers depend on the subservience of women to men to help ensure their rule.
These training sessions are signaling events, showing who and who not to be subservient to, with proper code words used whenever money flows, or doesn’t, from those who do things feminist academics claim they dislike.
Ask Bill Clinton where all the feminists are. They are all busy disregarding his many vial, personal offences to specific woman and lionizing him and his wife who is also guilty of the abuse of women by association. Feminists see what they choose to see, to see what serves their agenda, there in lies their left wing Liberal reality.
A true example, it happened the other day: A customer (it happened to be a woman) wanted to buy a 1.5 ml bottle of a particular product and all that was available were two 750 ml bottles. Where I say to her “take two 750 ml bottles and I will reduce the price, I will have what you want next week. She reply’s ” I don’t like buying the two smaller bottles, I THINK THAT I AM GETTING LESS FOR MY MONEY”. She chose something else and I did not even attempt to rectify her thinking.
No logic or application of demonstrative mathematics or reduction in price could convince that particular woman what was true and what was not true. And I happen to know that she is a Democrat, which may not be indicative of a mental state, but there it is, a created reality that can not be altered. Her subjective perception is her reality. Does not have an objective bone in her body and lives her life with confidence.
A politicians dream.
