Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. I keep the website clean from pop-ups and annoying demands. Instead, I depend entirely on my readers to support me. Though this means I am sacrificing some income, it also means that I remain entirely independent from outside pressure. By depending solely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, no one can threaten me with censorship. You don't like what I write, you can simply go elsewhere.

You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are five ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

Things are going to get worse

Link here. Key quote:

Readers will recall my prediction that fake strategies like those used by the administration go through 3 phases: 1) the denial of the problem; 2) over-confident half measures; 3) blind panic. President Obama is officially at number 3 and has canceled fundraisers in New Jersey and Connecticut “to convene his Cabinet at the White House instead, as U.S. officials grappled with the widening Ebola crisis.”

The panic phase comes very fast because it is actually the moment when a leader realizes he’s running out of the most precious resource a manager can have, which is time. And the administration, for the past six years, has been all about wasting time; about kicking the can down the road. They thought it was clever, a big joke they could play on their Republican successor. But most of the president’s opponents on the world stage, familiar with the idea that strategy is largely the story of time, saw it for the amateur mistake that it was. They saw the president for what he was and took him to the cleaners.

Read it all. It will chill you to the bones. Even if the Democrats get creamed in November’s election the country will still be led by a man and an elite leftist community astonishingly disconnected with reality.

You doubt this? Then please explain the clipboard man to me.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

The only mention ive seen of clipboard man in the media at large called him a supervisor from cdc, whose job is to orchestrate the movements and procedures of the suited workers. Due to the loss of peripheral vision and other senses when wearing hazmat suit.

Little known fact is that he is magically immune to ebola, due to the strength of his beliefs and the sheer amount of his caring.

The Administration’s handling of the Ebola outbreak from the President on down will sink several Democrat Senatorial candidates. The day Obama leaves office he will find it very difficult to get his calls returned.

    Did I hear correctly yesterday?

The President said something to the effect ‘I have talked to my medical advisers and they have told me that a travel restriction will not improve the situation we already have.’

Not improve the situation we already have?!!!! Where, Africa?
How about improving the situation in your own nation first by not allowing more potential carriers into the country in the first place.
Didn’t his oath say something to the effect of protecting OUR nation, first?

He had better get a grip on this Ebola right now. For one I predict that it will effect the elderly and poor the most. Those with poor health and those who can not afford to take a month off work to stay quarantined.
His main constituency in other words.
Is this attitude endemic to the left? Are they really ready to risk the death of their most fervent supporters just to make a political point against the republicans? They are already trying to blame this all on the republicans.

    For an additional thought
I truly think we can make this man pretty much jump to our tune just by telling him what to do. Have you ever noticed that no matter what it is if a republican tells him what to do, even if its the best solution or option, he simply refuses to do it? He will not even think about it as a good idea.
Tell him to keep troops in Iraq. Nope out they come as fast as possible.
Stop people from flying back from Africa. Nope just hope we can handle it when they get here.
Close the boarders? Nope, imply they will get more and better things if they get here before hes out of office.

I wonder what he would do if we told him to not even think about going over to Africa to visit the sick and dying.
And never to even try to issue subpenas to ‘questionable’ christian pastors ordering them to turn over their sermons and communications.

Even if he turned around and said that he was never going to do any of that we could just cry out that its about time he started listening to the republicans and sensible solutions.
He couldn’t live with himself after that. He would go out of his way to do exactly the opposite of what a republican said.
