Readers!

The time has come for my annual short Thanksgiving/Christmas fund drive for Behind The Black. I must do this every year in order to make sure I have earned enough money to pay my bills.

For this two-week campaign, I am offering a special deal to encourage donations. Donations of $200 will get a free autographed copy of the new paperback edition of Genesis: The Story of Apollo 8, while donations of $250 will get a free autographed copy of the new hardback edition. If you desire a copy, make sure you provide me your address with your donation.

As I noted in July, the support of my readers through the years has given me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. Instead, I rely entirely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, which gives me the freedom to write what I think, unencumbered by outside influences.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are four ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation or subscription:

4. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

Video: How election officials can cheat with Dominion voting software

The video is from today’s hearing in the Georgia legislature on the questions regarding the November 3rd election. Just watch. As noted at the link where I got the video:

Elections Supervisor Misty Martin gives a hands on demonstration of how to cheat with Dominion. This video was shown today by Colonel Waldren during his Georgia House of Representatives testimony.

The Dominion voting machines that Georgia and several other states use are open to manipulation during the counting process. This first of two videos shows the weaknesses of the system and the ways in which an unscrupulous election official may alter ballots with virtually no chance of being caught.

The point here is not whether anyone tampered with the results. The point is that the Dominion software used is utterly unreliable and can be used easily to tamper with the results. Any election that depended on this software is thus highly suspect, and should be thrown out.

It also means that if this software is used we cannot trust the results from the runoff of two Senate races in Georgia in January.

Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

    Exactly.

Is there any challenge that has a chance of moving forward? Sure looks like neither courts nor state legislators want to overturn results..tainted or not.

The argument against democracy, since antiquity, has always been about legitimacy. We will always be ruled by a despot anyway, they realized, that’s the nature of the state. Monarchy is better than democracy because with a monarch everyone knows who the despot is and that his first son will be the next despot.

Unless, of course, the queen is suspected of having been unfaithful. Because then the prince will be disputed and there will be civil warr. And peace be better than warr. But now, the legitimacy of democracy is disputed. What a fantastic idea to have voters put their ballots into a black box machine! An idea that changes the world. So get undressed and unshaved and warr!

    Local:

We Americans are always at war (Political war).

    It is by design.

Its what keeps our system viable and having potential.

As long as the rules of political warfare, contained in the Constitution, are followed. The Constitution provides the need to forgo a monarch. Remember where the Constitution comes from and who wrote it and what their goals were in writing it.

Constant and ongoing political warfare is our way and it is never ending. The best show on earth!

  • janyuary

Wow, Cotour … so well said. Warfare for liberty.

Fear … that elections are stolen (well-founded), or C19, or that we “kill the planet” just by being here … fear is clearly a tool of political warfare.

In war: if someone has something you want or need, that you cannot or will not buy from them or produce yourself, then you must:
    a) take it from them by force
    b) take it from them by fear

Most of the time, the second option is the more efficient and it is being used across the political aisle. I know every bit as many Republican conservatives who buy fully into this C19 lunacy, as I do Democrats. This aspect of warfare I suspect transcends political classifications.

Maybe that’s why the Founders thought in terms of “the blood of citizens and tyrants” to “water the tree of liberty,” and government being like fire, “a dangerous servant and a fearful master,” best limited in the name of safety.

Smart free people must be wary like warriors if they want to live in liberty.

    janyuary:

I would like to make a point here:

I have never either met in person or have had an exchange on line, and I have been doing this for a while, a Democrat, Liberal Democrat, Millennial Democrat Socialist, who ever, who had the ability to substantively hold their own in a discussion about our country or politics.

    Never, EVER.

All of their arguments are hollow and void of substance. Emotional clap trap designed only to obfuscate and push untruths.

There have been other like Jeff, he is typical. He has his own laid back non threatening style, but its all hollow and non substantive. Its really all any Democrat has. And because of that all being so, Jeff will soon depart, butt hurt. And that is the way it should be.

He can wrap himself securely in what he believes is his “Superior” PHD, or his doctorate, or his community college degree, but to no avail. Is what it is, he is an indoctrinated Democrat operative.

A dime a dozen, a political Potemkin village, nothing more, nothing less. Many have come before him.

And that is how political warfare is fought.

  • David M. Cook

It was George Washington who said “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is a force, like fire! It is a dangerous servant, and a fearful master.”. He knew exactly what he was talking about!

  • Cotour

Here is a good example of what I am talking about, she knows nothing about the country, how it was formed, why it was formed, or what her roll is as an elected representative, nothing. All she knows is her indoctrination. And she probably has a degree to:

Alma mater: Wayne County Community College, Walsh College

Another “Good Soldier”, pure evil as she transmits her instructions of intimidation to the likes of ANTIFA and BLM, Obamas pseudo citizen armed force. Read: Domestic terror arm of the Democrat party.

    Astrology news alert!
(As if we couldn’t see it coming)
    – – –
I just realized that the great conjunction of Jupiter with Saturn happens on the solstice, the darkest of nights. After Jupiter recently having passed Pluto for the third and last time this year. And with a Solar eclipse a week (a quarter of a Moon) before solstice.

This is the baddest omen I can imagine! Only thing missing is a comet. Astrology is now put to its test. I suppose that something bad will happen to someone somewhere so that it will be proven to be “The Truth” like the spammers like to say.
    – – –
End of news, and the World!

    LocalFluff:

You missed the big solar storm that was (sadly now rescinded) forecast to trigger auroras down to the latitude of Oregon : ).

    Cotour-
the video-link you referenced immediately above = “Poof,” it no longer exists.

  • Cotour

    Wayne:

Without doubt, the Social media giants are now an even bigger threat then the MSM.

And the MSM is a big problem.

  • janyuary

David M.. Cook, THANK YOU. Indeed, he described government to a tee and his words hold our solution for pioneering liberty in the 21st century.
I have searched online a few times over the years to pinpoint who said that bit about fire and dangerous servant, and come up with a variety of answers. I expect yours is the correct one, again, thank you!!
So I remember the often-forgotten words of former great president (a friend of mine has them as a tagline on emails, a poignant reminder of how far-sighted our Founders were). His wise counsel for the ages:

“Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.” — Abe Lincoln

  • janyuary

Cotour, you need to get around more. I have met many such, but I didn’t agree with them. My dad who converted many a lefty to the right, spent hours (and let me stay in the room often enough) debating just as you, many very smart, very well educated Democrats and liberals, who could hold their own. They just have different priorities.

It is far from ignorance; it is naivete and idealism. My dad succeeded because he recognized it for what it is and respected it. That’s how he helped people see farther than they had before.

It is suicidal to insist that the other party is the party of ignoramuses and this party is the exclusive party of virtue. That is a lie and will lead astray.

I refuse however to respect anyone who presumes to boss me or mine around because they think they’re smarter than me, and Cotour, a lot of them are Republicans. That is the sad truth.

Government needs to be limited to advance freedom, but Republicans have grown government as much as Democrats. It is the sad hard truth and we are looking at the results.

In the old days, “good Republican” was redundant.
Today, a “good Republican” is about as common as hens’ teeth. Instead, we have Republicans and self-described conservatives who are on board with nationalized medicine (Mitt Romney with RomneyMandatedHealthInsurance, strategically mislabeled “Care,” and ….Who will pay for it? “The government will pay for it.” — Donald Trump, I heard him say it; the EPA, one of the most freedom-killing tyrannical bureaucracies in American history, created by … a Republican. Republicans (Newt Ginrich, anyone?) talking about how right the environmentalists are about man-caused global warming —

Smell the coffee: the only solutio is to walk away from such conceits as one party having exclusive ownership of virtue, and the other bearing exclusive blame. It is an illusion and choosing strategy based on illusions, will lead to losing strategy.

As we have seen and are seeing even now, politically.

    janyuary:

I am technically a registered Democrat.

At the moment I consider myself a Trumpublican, a deplorable of the first order.

And I also have my scalps much like your father. And I will not back down, especially here on BTB, from any Democrat, Liberal Democrat or any other incarnation of the same that attempts to peddle their empty Heroin and whore political arguments and agendas.

And like I have said before, I have NEVER met one of them that could clearly state what their interpretation of the Constitution was or is or what our country is really all about. None, never, EVER.

Its all like I said a political Potemkin village that seeks to enslave those who think their interests are best served by an ever bigger and intrusive government.

  • Cotour

Listening right now to, Phill Kline of the Armistad project testifying in Wisconsin, substantive.

He clearly points out David Plouffe and his book / manual in how to beat Trump.

    https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/03/beating-donald-trump-with-david-plouffe/607648/

He lists exactly the municipalities in question today that are being revealed as being corrupt and fraudulent . He also calls out all of the millions that Zukerberg and his Chinese wife have “Donated” to execute it.

And a true Democrat believer? Objectively blind to all. “We won, lets move on here”.

HUGE! Attorney Matthew DePerno CONFIRMS Dominion Voting Machines in Michigan County CHANGED VOTES From Trump to Biden — IT WAS NOT HUMAN ERROR!

    janyuary–

ref: “….a lot of them are Republicans.”

Very true— just because someone has an “R” by their name, doesn’t mean they aren’t Statists. Most “Republicans” are progressive-republicans.
–I would put Nixon in that category, and as you noted, ‘republicans’ gave us the EPA and the DEA, to name but 2.

  • Jeff Fauva

This video proves that one can tamper with digital election ballots if one is willing to break the law and falsify a ballot. This is no different than if the election supervisor erased and penciled-in a preferred vote.

Have hand counts uncovered any large deviation from the machine counts? Have any election supervisors been charged or arrested?

  • Andrew_W

The inference is silly, I can drive at 100 MPH through residential districts, the fact I can is not evidence that I did.

  • Cotour

“The recount in Antrim County found 9,759 votes for President Donald Trump, versus 5,959 for Biden. On Nov. 3, county officials said Biden received over 3,000 more votes than Trump. Two days later, they said Trump won by about 2,500 votes. A third change took place on Nov. 21, with Trump being certified the winner by nearly 4,000 votes.

Officials blamed the skewed results on human error.”
