But for a company to tell their CUSTOMERS that they will go as far as fining them $2500 if they do not act as they demand is another thing all together.

Research how many firearms stores and blacksmiths have had to find new services after their banks cut them off after being labeled “high risk”. The same category used for porn industry and sellers of drug paraphernalia was used to limit access to the financial system as a means to push them out of business.

Important to note, it was not the banks that applied the label. It was the FDIC, a US Government corporation.

Paypal overstepped and they know it, as they are back tracking fast. But this was also likely encouraged by the major credit companies stating that they would track (and probably report) all legal firearm and firearm related purchases by individuals. This is not just a 1st or 2nd amdt issue.

Using finance to control the people will get ugly. Creating new institutions for the people that wish to avoid these over zealous agencies is not easy either. To create a new bank, and get FDIC coverage, and work in the finance networks requires working with the government. And depending on who is in charge, that can be made very difficult.
