Good stuff.

"On April 21, 1787, the Congress of the Confederation of the United States authorized a design for an official copper penny, later referred to as the Fugio cent because of its image of the Sun and its light shining down on a sundial with the caption, "Fugio" (Latin: I flee/fly, referring to time flying by).
This coin was designed by Benjamin Franklin; as a reminder to its holders, he put at its bottom the message, "Mind your business"."

To Phill O: I hope there were a lot of folks. And not of the mask-wearing variety.

Minding your own business is good for your health, in general. In the US, it will keep you from gaining weight in 220 grain increments.

There is still much to be thankful for. Let us look to the good, and not be distracted by the siren call of mediocrity.

In that spirit, let me quote a (hopefully real) social media post by the Town of Hendersonville, NC:

<i>"This Thanksgiving, if you see 20 cars at your neighbor's house, and you're thinking about reporting them, go to the fridge and drink a big glass of milk.

Why? Milk is good for your teeth.
You know what else is good for your teeth?

Minding your own business."</i>

Happy Thanksgiving, American friends.
