Who wants to do it?

I was reminded as reading this how much data there is out there and how few people there are to sift through it. There certainly isn't a budget for government doing it. It is a blessing, though, that we are able to gather so much information.

A space show guest a while back wanted to create crypto or virtual currencies to reward people. Another appeal is prestige. But everything really depends on people deciding the work is interesting and there is probably only a certain percentage of the population that will ever be interested. So, we need more people in total. Perhaps though, there will be more people as a percentage that become interested as time goes on.

Even though our robotic partners save the data, does it really exist until a human brings it into the collective consciousness?
