A new repeat Dalton like solar minimum,
dubbed the Landscheidt minimum, is in full swing. This is a major cooling event. The previous one occurred in the early 1800’s and lasted about 25 years or longer. Global temperatures may drop 0.4 degrees C. If Solar Cycle 24 also extends beyond 13 years, some scientist say this indicates the onset of another Maunder minimum. Global temps may then plunge even further, say 1.5 degrees C. This is little ice age climate and may last several decades. If all this is not enough, the 30 year long Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO) has also turned negative (cooling). Melankovich Planetary Orbital cycles are slowly moving down the forward slope toward a new ice age. Earth’s atmospheric CO2 is projected to peak at the end of this century and then decline. Yes the Arctic is melting, just like in 1922 when CO2 was not a problem. Also, global sea ice area has not changed in the last 30 years. Not a problem then, not a problem now. The whole carbon credit thing is nothing but a scam to provide a free ride for the money grabbers.
