Yesterday I outlined in detail how a growing body of research as well as a great deal of blatantly obvious public data is increasingly demonstrating that the COVID shots carry with them some risk, and that in many cases, especially for those younger than 50, the risks outweigh the relatively minor benefits the jab provides against the Wuhan flu.

Though this data was unknown when the COVID shots were first made available, the amount of uncertainty and risk was great enough to make it unconscionable for any politician or health official to require anyone to get the jab, no matter what. And yet, led by President Joe Biden, government agencies and big corporations nationwide demanded employees get the jab, or be fired.

The result: tens of thousands of individuals, especially the young and healthy, have died unnecessarily from the COVID shots, since COVID itself could never have killed them.

Today I am going to outline the lies perpetuated by politicians and government health officials almost from day one of the Wuhan panic that worked hide these basic facts. Many times these lies were committed with the best of intentions. Many times the liars honestly and sincerely believed the lie was their only course of action.

And in too many cases, the lies were merely lies, said simply to protect the individual from scandal and possible prosecution, should the truth come out.

No matter what the reason, however, these lies were not only dishonest, they were morally wrong, and resulted in routinely bad policy that only made the Wuhan epidemic far worse than it ever had to be.

To begin, let us look at the lies of some specific individuals.

Deborah Birx served as a member of the COVID response team that President Trump set up soon after the arrival of the Wuhan flu. Before that she was the United States global AIDS coordinator from 2014 to 2020 for both Obama and Trump. She also served as the U. S. “special representative for global health diplomacy between 2015 and 2021”, whatever that means.

She has since admitted, in depth in her own book, Silent Invasion, that — during her time in 2020 serving on that Trump COVID response team — she routinely lied to Trump and his advisors in order to impose lockdown policies they disapproved of.

In one section, Birx writes about how her team would give draft guidance to the Trump administration only for advisors there to alter or rearrange it, at which time her team would put it back in and deliver it to governors and other agencies.

This is the exact quote from her book:

After the heavily edited documents were returned to me, I’d reinsert what had been objected to, but place it in those different locations. I’d also reorder and restructure the bullet points so that the most salient — the points the administration objected to most — no longer fell at the start of the bullet points. I shared these strategies with the three members of the data team also writing the reports. Our Saturday and Sunday report-writing routine soon became: write, submit, revise, hide, resubmit. Fortunately, this strategic sleight-of-hand worked. [emphasis mine]

In other words, she and the government unelected bureaucrats who worked for her teamed up to deceive and lie to the elected officials who actually set policy, and did so to cancel their desired policy and instead replace it with their own.

And what exactly was the policy she wanted? Trump wanted to limit as much as he could the lockdowns and mandates. She instead lied to create federal recommendations that Democratic Party governors nationwide could use to justify the most stringent lockdowns possible. For example, she lied to get the famous lie, “Just two weeks to stop flatten the curve” approved. However, that was never her real goal.

“No sooner we had we convinced the Trump administration to implement our version of a two-week shutdown than I was trying to figure out how to extend it,” she writes, despite not having the data to back up her intention. “Fifteen Days to Slow the Spread was a start,” she writes, “but I knew it would be just that. I didn’t have the numbers in front of me yet to make the case for extending it longer, but I had two weeks to get them.”

She never did get those numbers, but that made no difference. By lying and deception, she was able to force her draconian recommendations through, thus choking the country under her thumb.

This casual lying continued when the COVID shots first became available. In June of 2022 Birx admitted that she had never believed the shots would protect anyone from COVID.

I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection. And I think we overplayed the vaccines, and it made people then worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization. It will. But let’s be very clear: 50% of the people who died from the Omicron surge were older, vaccinated.

Yet, Birx was also very careful to never say this publicly when it mattered, in 2021. Instead, she let others spread the lie that the jab would block COVID. For example, in March 2021 CDC chief Rochelle Walensky said, “Vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick.” That was an outright lie. Birx was silent. Then in July 21 during a CNN town hall, Biden said “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.” Another lie. Birx remained silent.

Only in June of 2022, almost two years after the COVID shots were first administered and ten months after Joe Biden imposed jab mandates across the nation, did she finally admit publicly that she had never had any faith in the ability of the COVID shots to prevent COVID.

In essence, she lied by omission. Had she spoken up, she might have caused the Biden administration to reconsider its shot mandate. Instead, it went ahead, forcing many millions to get the jab against their will, with many thousands seriously harmed or killed, because that jab carried measurable risks that in many cases actually exceeded the threat from COVID itself.

Anthony Fauci: Washington’s liar-in-chief

In the coming years, books are going to be written about the duplicity and incompetence of this man. I only intend to outline a few examples.

First, Fauci lied about masks. First he said masks wouldn’t work, but he said so based on what to in his mind was an outright lie. He claimed he believed masks worked great, but did not want the public to use them in the beginning of the epidemic because he feared the supply to healthcare workers would then dry up.

So he lied publicly, and later admitted to that conscious lie.

Later he claimed masks would work, and strongly demanded that people to use them. He even suggested that two or three masks might even be better, as well as eye goggles and eye shields.

None of these recommendations however were based on any research. They were just Fauci’s off-the-cuff opinions. The actual data, compiled for the past hundred years and supplemented by good research in the past two years, says masks are worthless at blocking a virus like COVID. As are goggles and eye shields.

And yet, even as he claimed masks worked, he also acted like he knew this was a lie. According to former White House official Brian Morgenstern, Fauci would ridicule people who wore masks.

“He went on to laugh about how ‘a**-backwards’ it was that people entered a restaurant wearing a mask, then sat down and conversed with people without a mask. Of course, he wasn’t saying things to that effect publicly, just laughing privately at the American rubes he was fooling,” Morgenstern wrote.

Fauci, as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984, also repeatedly lied about his agency’s funding to the Chinese research labs which it appears might have actually helped create the Wuhan flu. In Senate hearings in May 2021:

“Dr. Fauci, do you still support funding of the NIH funding of the lab in Wuhan?” [Senator Rand Paul] asked the NIH chief.

“Senator Paul, with all due respect, you are entirely, entirely, and completely incorrect,” a clearly irritated Fauci shot back. “The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

And yet, less than two months later Fauci’s statement above was proven to be entirely untrue, and summarized here as follows:

In July 2021, Judicial Watch obtained records through a FOIA lawsuit from NIAID officials in connection with the Wuhan Institute of Virology revealing significant collaborations and funding that began in 2014. The records revealed that NIAID gave nine China-related grants to EcoHealth Alliance to research coronavirus emergence in bats and was the NIH’s top issuer of grants to the Wuhan lab itself.

As for the COVID shots, Fauci was very public in encouraging people to get jabbed, often making false claims to frighten people into getting it. For example, he frequently fear-mongered the need to get kids jabbed, claiming falsely that children and adults faced the same risks, and that children who got the Wuhan flu also face a serious threat of hospitalization and long term illness.

None of this is true. While a very very very tiny number of children have suffered and died from COVID, for almost all kids it is harmless. Even if they get it they have rarely have symptoms, and quickly develop immunity. Nor does it appear they pass it on very easily to adults.

There was no justifiable reason for Fauci to push parents to jab their kids, especially considering the great unknowns surrounding the shots in 2021. And yet, he did, quite enthusiastically.

Why? Why did Fauci, Birx, and others push the COVID shots so hard? Well, there appears there was a lot of money to be made. From 2009-2014 NIH scientists have received an estimated $350 million in royalties for the drugs the agency approved. Fauci himself benefited.

Among the royalty recipients are National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, who received 23 royalty payments, 2009-2021 NIH Director Francis Collins, who was given 14 payments, and Fauci deputy Clifford Lane, who tallied 8 payments.

However, when Fauci himself was asked directly by Senator Rand Paul if he had received such royalties, he equivocated, refusing to answer directly but indicating that he likely received something, a direct conflict of interest that could very well be illegal.

The royalties possibly received by Fauci and others in the government for their work developing the COVID jab — that the government then mandated — boggles the mind.

The lies of the government itself

Many of the lies about COVID and the COVID shots however were not made by specific individuals, but by the faceless federal government and the unnamed bureaucrats who run it. The CDC leadership tops the list in this manner, changing its policy and recommendations over and over again for political reasons, since each time it never could cite any actual new science to justify the changes.

For example, it lied about its research into the adverse effects of the COVID shots.

The Epoch Times is reporting that Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), finally spilled her guts and admitted what most of us already presumed: the CDC lied about researching certain adverse effects related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Walensky had claimed that the CDC would scrutinize certain types of adverse event data referred to as Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) from reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). An official at the CDC quietly admitted in June that those reports were ignored and went so far as to say that “data mining is outside of the agency’s purview.”

…[In a] letter to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) … she admit[ed] that the PRRs were not analyzed. between February 26, 2121, and Sept. 30, 2021.

Those dates are important, as they cover the time period leading up to Joe Biden’s shot mandate, imposed September 9, 2021. Had the CDC had compiled the data about the high number of adverse events that were being caused by the shots during that time period, as it said it would, Biden’s mandate would have been difficult to justify. Instead, the CDC didn’t collect the data as required, lied about it, and so the Biden shot mandate was imposed.

The CDC lied about its awareness of the link between the shots and heart inflammation and failure. At first it claimed it had detected no link. That was false. Its researchers and managers were very aware of a link, but lied about that knowledge publicly to claim otherwise.

The CDC, along with many other government agencies, created out of whole clothe the make-believe “six-foot social distancing rule,” though no research had ever been done to prove its effectiveness. In fact, there is evidence the whole idea was proposed by a high school student in a science fair project.

It wasn’t until August 2022 that the White House admitted the whole idea was a farce, and a lie.

The CDC also finally admitted last week that masks were worthless in most healthcare facilities, and ended their requirement. That the actual science had never changed, and that masks have always been known to be worthless to prevent transmission of virus like COVID, was not noted.

These changes were part of a major overhaul of the CDC’s COVID recommendations, which essentially recognized that everything dissenters that I and many others have been saying for the past two years was correct. Masks didn’t work. Social distancing was a fraud. The COVID shots provided no real protection. Natural immunity was better. Quarantines were pointless.

Or as Orwell put it, “Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.”

The intellectual dishonesty exhibited throughout the entire Wuhan flu epidemic has been astonishing. It is as if the entire country watched an emperor walk around with no clothes, and refused to see it. Worse, when the little child spoke up, rather than blinking in shock and admitting the child was right, our society rallied around the naked emperor for two years and turned to stone the child.

You cannot have good science, or even a civilized technological society, without intellectual honesty. Fortunately, there are signs that the tide is finally turning, which will be the subject the third and last part of this essay, tomorrow.
