Massive debts were created so America could pick up European industrial assets for cheap post war. Russia took heavy casualties but, if it were not for Russia, Germany would have won.

The 1950s Hollywood lefties were almost all very loyal Americans who strongly believed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They simply were very naive about communism and thought its best ideals could be incorporated in our nation without harming those documents. In fact, they would have opposed strongly any action that did those documents harm.

I think you’ve misread her complaint. The lost wages she’s seeking are expressly in *excess* of $75K, and are only *one* of the *four* different types of damages she’s seeking. In addition to lost wages, she’s also seeking (and here I quote from the complaint):

— Compensatory damages for loss of future employment, including but not limited to the promised role in Rangers of the New Republic, in an amount to be determined at trial;

— Emotional distress damages, in an amount to be determined at trial; .

— Punitive damages, in an amount to be determined at trial.

She’s also seeking to recover her attorneys’ fees and costs. Her total recovery therefore has the potential to run into tens of millions of dollars, and I hope she’s awarded at least that much. What Disney did here is disgusting and grossly illegal.

She should be asking for 150 million or more.
