Readers!

The time has come for my annual short Thanksgiving/Christmas fund drive for Behind The Black. I must do this every year in order to make sure I have earned enough money to pay my bills.

For this two-week campaign, I am offering a special deal to encourage donations. Donations of $200 will get a free autographed copy of the new paperback edition of Genesis: The Story of Apollo 8, while donations of $250 will get a free autographed copy of the new hardback edition. If you desire a copy, make sure you provide me your address with your donation.

As I noted in July, the support of my readers through the years has given me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. Instead, I rely entirely on donations and subscriptions from my readers, which gives me the freedom to write what I think, unencumbered by outside influences.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. You can support me either by giving a one-time contribution or a regular subscription. There are four ways of doing so:

1. Zelle: This is the only internet method that charges no fees. All you have to do is use the Zelle link at your internet bank and give my name and email address (zimmerman at nasw dot org). What you donate is what I get.

2. Patreon: Go to my website there and pick one of five monthly subscription amounts, or by making a one-time donation.

3. A Paypal Donation or subscription:

4. Donate by check, payable to Robert Zimmerman and mailed to

The anti-Semitic Pro-Hamas Democratic Party shows its colors again

Democrats burn American flags in support of Hamas
Democrats burn American flags in support of Hamas

Today the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, came to Washington to meet with American government officials and give a speech before both houses of Congress.

Not surprisingly, numerous Democrats both inside and outside Congress showed their hatred of Israel and love of the Hamas terrorists, enthusiastically slandering Netanyahu, Israel, and its struggle to survive while elevating terrorists into “freedom fighters”, even though on October 7 last year those Hamas fighters weren’t fighting for freedom, they were out to kill Jews, eagerly raping, torturing, and murdering more than a thousand men, women, children, and babies simply because they were present inside Israel.

Inside Congress more than forty Democrats boycotted Netanyahu’s speech, including Vice President Kamala Harris (now running for president against Trump). Apparently Harris is courting the American Hamas voting block. Democrats who did attend made it clear in numerous ways that they oppose the right of Israel and Jews to exist and that they support Hamas’ murder of women, children and babies, though of course they couched their statements in cute ways filled with lies in order to give themselves plausible deniability. For example, Nancy Pelosi said this:

Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation in the House Chamber today was by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States.

Many of us who love Israel spent time today listening to Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings. These families are asking for a ceasefire deal that will bring the hostages home – and we hope the Prime Minister would spend his time achieving that goal.

She “loves Israel” like a vulture likes carrion. She claims all she wants was a ceasefire in Gaza to get the remaining hostages back, but in truth this is merely a cover for her desire to save the terrorist organization Hamas from complete destruction.

Outside of Congress mobs of pro-Hamas protesters wrecked havoc, destroying monuments, attacking anyone who disagreed with them, and topping it all off by ripping down the three American flags in front of Union Station and replacing them with Palestianian flags. The mob then burned the three American flags. When one American attempted to rescue the flags, the mob chased him, threatening him with violence. “Get him!” they screamed as he ran away.

What was most interesting is that many of these pro-Hamas rioters were bused in. Who paid for these buses and the transportation? If we had a real FBI and CIA, doing its actual job, someone would be looking into it. Instead, those agencies are more concerned about “rightwing agitators”, even though for almost a decade of searching neither agency has been very successful in finding any. Instead, both agencies, in league with these anti-American Democrats, often make up charges against innocent Americans, some of whom were simply praying in front of abortion clinics.

What the pro-Hamas demonstrators are doing is far different. One could even say it is exactly comparable to the out-of-control riot that occurred at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The difference is that the pro-Hamas demonstrators are all Democrats, and will therefore be allowed the full freedom to riot as they please.

illegal pro-Hamas demonstration in Capitol

Yesterday these pro-Hamas demonstrators even took over the Capitol building illegally.
The screen capture to the right is from that illegal takeover, which also included violence and arrests when the protesters would not leave and some even tried to storm several Congressional offices. Note the shirts and professionally-made banners. This demonstration involved a lot of detailed organization and a lot of funding. It makes one wonder if these demonstrators were even paid agitators.

And I must emphasize again, if these pro-Hamas rioters vote, we all know that their vote will be for a Democrat. This is the armed and violent wing of the Democratic Party. Previously it rioted under the name of Occupy Wall Street. Then it rioted under the name of BLM. Then it did it under the name of Antifa. Now it is doing it in the name of Hamas.

The names might change, but the goals are all the same: instill fear in anyone who opposes the Democratic Party, and push that party in a more radical and very tyrannical direction. The events in Washington in the past 24 hours in response to the arrival of the leader of Israel illustrates this forcefully.

UPDATE: A group of REPUBLICAN congressmen, led by Speaker Mike Johnson, took action tonight to replace those burned flags tonight.

These people are a cancer, and they have metastasized to fully control the Democrat Party.

Make no mistake about it: The Democrats hate the United States’ existence as a nation of free individuals, and they hate its ally Israel. The Democrat Party is concerned only with power and control. It is truly an evil political entity.

Netanyahu pointed out what was going on outside and called them the useful idiots of Iran due to funding sources.

Question: Why does no one ever point out that the taking of civilian hostage is a war crime?

Oct 7 also Battle of Lepanto. Sept 11 also Battle of Vienna.
    What is next?

Question: Why does no one ever point out that the taking of civilian hostage is a war crime?

You almost have to respect Rep. Tlaib for holding up a sign self-identifying herself as a war criminal since she supports the taking civilian hostages.

When Benjamin Netanyahu said that people said that they could not take Rafa without significant civilian casualties, he was reiterating what Kamala Harris said herself (and pointed out how wrong she was).

I must agree that the left in both Canada and the United States of America have moved to a very evil posture.

As I have mentioned before, Ted Bundy was put to death for less than what Hamas did on Oct 7.

The 40 democrats who did not go to the speech could just as easily claim they had other mot=re important things to do.

Unless they signed some paper claiming they were supporting the Palestinians they have an easy cover story they could play both ways.

When they go into Pro Palestinian areas they could claim they boycotted the speech and in all other ares they can claim they were just busy.

Tlaib was just pandering to her constituents.

PUTTING LIPSTICK ON A CRAP SANDWICH

“Mothers, fathers, adults need to teach morality and making good choices in life to young people, not government! Be an example to be looked up to, have character, have standards, work hard, be smart, that is what young people intuitively look for. “Who should I be like?”.

That question should certainly never be allowed to be answered by any government. Young people are watching you, and you are allowing philosophical Marxists to be the answer to their question regarding who they should be like! Whether you realize it or not.”
