Now people live for 20 to maybe 30 years beyond retirement age.
Heck I expect to receive SS while both my parents are alive. Or get real close.

Will they adjust retirement age up to 70 or even 80?
At that point will we just be able to retire on our own private retirement for 10 or 15 years and then use SS?

The very worst thing about SS is what the government is allowed to not do or do with it.
By law they are not allowed to invest it in anything, especially things like the private sector or Stocks and bonds. Wall Street.
But they are allowed to sell off the cash in treasury bonds and place that converted cash into the general fund. Treasury bonds require interest when they are traded back in. Who pays that interest? We do.
So our children not only get to pay into SS but get to repay the treasury bonds and interest.
Its not like the government is allowed to invest the cash from treasury bonds into private investments. It gets spent on the general It gets spent on things the government doesn’t make money on.

We MUST end the sale of T bills in all forms. Spend the next 30 years paying them off and never selling them again. We can not pay the interest.

Interest should be paid to the government for the loan of our cash

The American Electorate looked at Harris and at Trump. They voted. No one questioned the actual Verdict in 34 felony charges. They didn’t care.

34 felony convictions and they still felt that Trump was the more trustworthy candidate.

Then came the sentencing, which no one is willing to laugh at out loud, At least I haven’t seen it anywhere.

Walking behind them are Elon Musk, Howard Lutnick (Secretary of Commerce) and Stephen Miller (Homeland Security Advisor). All brilliant.

Howard Lutnick was chief executive and president of the financial company Cantor Fitzgerald located in the World Trade Center. 658 of his employees were killed on 9/11. Lutnick would have been there but was taking his son to kindergarten. He has the same compassion for people that Trump has.
