One could make a decent argument that the FBI were, at a minimum, fellow travelers of Antifa until Kash Patel and Dan Bongino took over. Scourging of the Shire is ongoing. Trump is, thus far, keeping federal presence – military, not FBI – limited to guarding federal property during the current piss-ant insurrection on behalf of illegals – and the usual grab bag of other nutbar leftist obsessions. The only feds on the street are ICE agents.

The extent to which the various tribes of leftist crazies are allowed to run amok is a function of local and state Dem leadership. Trump wants to underscore this. Recent poll results suggest that this is working.

This nonsense is portrayed by the dying legacy media as involving “millions of Americans” and to be taking place “everywhere.” It’s actually thousands, not millions, and many don’t seem to be Americans. Those that are Americans seem to be mainly rent-a-rioters who are paid, transported and furnished with convenient pallets of bricks to throw by what little still remains of the formerly massive criminal NGO complex being burned down by DOGE. The remainder are local wannabe “rebel” nitwits and dupes.

It’s also taking place exclusively in blue-controlled jurisdictions. The wackos know better than to try this crap in places like Idaho. Even in red state cities with blue mayors there is a notable dearth of such activity.

As for the CIA and the cartels, the CIA has, until recently, simply not given an institutional fig about the cartels. Under its new management that seems to be changing a bit. The US intelligence apparat may finally be at least beginning to deal with the fact that we have long had a semi-failed state below our southern border and, increasingly of late it would seem, a second one above our northern border.

There is also, of course, the likely imminent disappearance of Iran as a consequential nation and the only modestly more distant prospect of the same fate befalling Russia. The CIA will have a lot more to learn, but also probably rather less to actually do, before the end of the second Trump administration.

Right now, there is a lot of transitional noise and bother, but the general trend of things is favorable – more favorable by the day IMHO.

They COULD actually pay attention to Mr. Thoreau’s “Civil Disobedience” in their protests and take the responsibility of their actions and do the jail time in mass groups, overloading the jails. Of course, the various NGO’s paying them won’t pay them to sit in jail for several months, and the prospect of doing without access to their phones and their Vegan gluten and lactose-free diet is unthinkable. One has to have principles you know.

The leadership used to keep their own noses clean, but the failure of the masses to succeed seems to have made the leaders try it themselves, thinking that they might make better martyrs. Instead, we are seeing who are the children in the room.

Democrats do not seem to learn. What is it that the IQ tests are supposed to measure? Isn’t it the ability to learn, because the scores compare the same age cohort? Maybe they are unlearning as they get older, which would explain so much.
