They are maybe the most unregulated and tax free country in the world, other than the government owns all oil. They are diversifying successfully, I see they export some jet engines for example. They have a container port larger than any port in Europe. No taxes and no hassle with permissions for engine tests, fuel handling or launches might be convincing arguments for even a company like SpaceX to set up manufacturing there. A space port on their east coast should be clear for GEO launches, and maybe the foreign but allied desert to the south allows for polar launches too.
