I have no doubt, that if the Airlines enacted their own version of TSA, they would be far more effective at it.Both in cost/results , and even increased customer satisfaction.

Why don’t they just ask if the TSA personnel even want to spot a terrorist?

Think of it.
You get paid just over minimum wage, or it at least feels that way.
Work long hours.
Get no appreciation.
Have no prospects for advancement.
Have crappy health care.
And a poor retirement.
On top of it all you have to serve people who always think they are better than you and have someplace far more important to be. And they let you know it all day long. Everyday.

Now why do I want to be the guy to spot the mad bomber, point him out and possibly make him set off his bomb early just so his day wasn’t wasted. Killing me in the process.

Yep why in the world would I slack off and not really look for that bomb?

This comes as no surprise. The purpose of the creation of the TSA and Homeland “Security” is not to spot or stop terrorism at all.
It was created to extend an out of control and lawless regime’s power. The USG’s real enemies are any citizens of the USA who believe in rule of law and the Constitution of the United States of America.
