It’s not like socialized medicine had never been tried. The UK alone had 50 years of experience by the time we got around to it. Now we’re seeing shock and aargh from the same people who promised a health care Utopia if this misbegotten spawn of Satan passed.

Economics and biology. I figured out in 7th grade biology that nature only makes things just well enough to do the job. The laws of economics flow from biological precepts. Because I’m on record with my views and predictions for Obamacare, including a massive physician shortage, I plan on saying ‘I told you so’ every chance I get to supporters. It’s long past time to stop being nice to children who think they’re adults.
