The racists of yesteryear founded the Ku Klux Klan (and assured it had the support, if not active participation, of local politicians and law enforcement personnel), generated and defended Jim Crow laws, and shut down public schools in defiance of Brown vs. Board of Education.

This is just the 21st century version, by the descendants of those who did the same thing before. Trump needs to be the modern Eisenhower and face down the race mongers.
