That only 400,000 (or is it 20,000 to 80,000)have signed up suggests that there are not so many desperate people as we were led to believe.

We may have screwed everyone in order to “save” a small number of people from our soon-to-be-late excellent medical system.

And with only at MOST 20% having paid for the insurance they claimed to want and applied for that would mean what? less than 15,000 have actually signed up and paid for insurance already.

Thats less than the student body at many universities. And they need ALL those kids to sign up and start paying.

They could have gotten that many by just offering subsidies for low income wage earners.

I am guessing most cases of “new” insurance will be people replacing their old plans and they will do it through their broker and not the Obamacare website. Obama will spin this as people getting insurance for the first time ever, being liberated from fraudulent policies, and his website working.

Obviously we have a huge amount of people who have been given notice they are loosing their normal insurance. Discounting these, is the rate of normal insurance policies changing?
