Related because it has to do with "truth":

Driving past a Liberal friends house this morning going to the bank I noticed taped on her door was a plain large white page with the words in big bold type "TRUTH, we need it more than ever now". It looked like it came out of some news publication, I will assume it was the NY Times. It must be a campaign of Liberal righteousness.

So when I got back home I prepared a response based in reality.

WHAT IS "TRUTH" ?

THERE IS NO TRUTH IN POLITICS, ONLY POSITIONS AND STRATEGY.

ONE MAN OR WOMAN'S TRUTH IS ANOTHER'S BENGAZI.

I taped it to her door under her sign and was in the process of taking a picture of it to send in an email to her but my phone froze up and while I was attempting to fix it she arrived back home !? I got busted. She yells out. "I knew you would see that and do something". I just smiled.

Cotour--
Dorsey is *somewhat* like a Musk. He started writing code as a kid and while working at a taxi company came up with a variety of open source programs that handled dispatching problems.
I think he attended college, but not sure if he graduated. I'm not aware of his political affiliations other than he has donated big money to democrat party causes.
-He made his millions in electronic payment processing by founding "Square." (the credit-card reader that works through your phone) He cashed out of Square and eventually founded twitter.

Twitter does not make any money; they've lost anywhere from $500 million to over $1 billion, a year, in the past 5. They have billions in revenue but have yet to turn an actual profit.

He'd be a fool to ban Trump.
(That being said, it is a private company and they could do what they want.)

Referencing the sad state of American Colleges--
Highly recommend concerned parents vote with their money, and possibly explore Hillsdale College as an alternative. (And quit donating to the Alumni Fund if your alma mater is doing bizzaro stuff.)
They do not accept any student aid or guaranteed-loans, but they will work with you on scholarships. Marginally more than a name-brand, Midwest, State school, but with none of the added worries or downside.
(Sent my daughter, --best money we ever spent. Debt-free at graduation.)

Some hope?

Jack Dorsey of Twitter says he will not ban Trump from Twitter.

The first question I have here is: Who would think that Trump needed to be banned from Twitter in the first place? (A liberal media member who also is a product of the higher education system?)

Dorsey makes the correct decision about free speech. He may not at all like what Trump has to say or how he says it, but he wants to hear it. And I am sure that he is not too long out of these universities of higher learning that are the subject of this news panel.

It's not so much the restrictions that schools place on "Free Speech" (after all remember you can't yell "Fire!" etc etc)

but it is the way they apply those restrictions.

When you have arbitrary, or worse, politically biased rules that are selectively applied by the school, then you have the recipe for Fascism.

Schools do have a responsibility to maintain a safe environment and even further an atmosphere that is conducive for the majority of their students to be able to study and learn w/o fear and/or disruption of what they are paying for....

Schools have always been more restrictive than the public square for good reasons, it's when the rules aren't applied equally to all that it becomes what we are now seeing.

And we all though that it was just Obama who is the personification of the sixties radical (and he is) who snuck through and by a chance political circumstance became the president as a function of the push back and abuse of power by Baby Bush..

This second potential wave of fully indoctrinated "snow flake" millenials is much more invasive will be able to more effectively install their agendas. Gulp.

I suspect that there will be substantial numbers of millenials who reject this big think, warm and fuzzy intolerant socialism for what it is as they hurdle towards reality. But these fascist activities that regularly occur on these campuses of higher learning are very disturbing. Their inability to not see their own intolerance related to free speech is exactly what they profess to despise.

Free speech is not about speech that you prefer but about speech what is offensive to you.
