Obama still has another 16 months to wreak his havoc. Much damage is done, but he wants to inflict even more. If Congress can stop or impede further damage, then that is a great material difference.

We may have lost our freedom of commerce, now that we are forced to purchase insurance whether or not we want to. We may be losing our safety, now that his agreement with Iran guarantees (by his own admission) that they will get the bomb in a few short years. But we still have our freedom of speech and some of our freedom of religion.

Either or both of those could be gone in his remaining 16 months.

Most people who have grown up in America would not recognize true leadership in their politicians if it fell on them. They would tend to interpret true leadership as being “partisan” or “unequal”, both terms being a sideways or negative type of thinking. True leadership has been characterized as being “bad” and that characterization goes to the continued empowerment of the status quo political atmosphere.

I say, No MORE!

1st. Jeb Bush is not going to be the candidate. (neither is Hillary, they just have not answered the phone call from the new reality yet. If either one of them do become the president then we will all understand that WE The People are chattel and are participating in a reality fantasy presented to us by our owners and the fantasy goes on .)

2nd. If a standard republican flavored politician is the next president your prognostication may well be the future of the republican party.

3rd. The next president of the Untied States MUST be a true leader of men and nations, a person of force of vision who employs a benevolent and reasonable character and has a fundamental connection to the Constitution. And that person is more than likely going to be TRUMP, as “Childish” as he may be to some. That is what the country and the world MUST have in order to move forward in an optimistic manner.

Not optimistic? I am most optimistic but I also recognize reality and the exercise of power for what it is.

I think this reasoning is precisely why John McCain and Mitt Romney were the republican nominees and Jeb Bush is still being pushed as a candidate. The Republican party leaders felt that when faced with a choice between a democrat or a flawed republican, they would be forced to vote for the lesser of two evils. They failed to consider that there was a third choice; stay home. Therein lies the rub. We’ve been saddled with the greater of two evils now for two terms.

If Jeb Bush is the republican nominee, I can predict several things:
1. The country will remember that we didn’t need the federalists, we didn’t need the whigs, and we don’t NEED the republicans.
2. We will have a third party, and it will be named “republican”
3. The next president will not be a republican. (The democrat leadership is counting on this)

“IF” is such a tiny little word that has such very large implications in the sentences it is used. IF Bohner is removed and replaced by a similarly minded speaker then the exercise is circular and meaningless. IF Bruce Jenner wasn’t a woman he would be a man.

Recent political history supports my interpretation of reality much better than your interpretation.

Let me improve my sentence for you: “If it were to happen it will be purely circular and symbolic and mean nothing” Unless Bohner is replaced by someone NOT controlled by the current Republican leadership.

In order for your model to be realized Republican leadership from the top down, and I mean very strong Conservative leadership from the president down, must be changed. If not the same thing will happen, leadership will be threatened and leveraged into doing nothing of consequence in opposition to what appears to be Obamas and the Democrats domination of the Republicans and further disruption of the entire world.

Thankfully Obama is heading for the end of his reign of Marxist / Socialist appeasement, enemy empowerment and general wonderfulness on the world. We can only imagine what those last months and weeks will contain. What those days probably will not contain is true, rock solid and principled opposition from the Republicans.

Remember this conversation and we will revisit it in the coming months.

If Boehner is dumped because of pressure imposed by the conservative tea party wing of the Republican Party, it empowers that wing in future negotiations on any legislation. Thus, dumping Boehner is not “purely circular and symbolic and mean nothing.” It will make a significant difference in how the House Republicans approach future legislation and the opposition of the Democrats.

Defeatism like you express here is why we haven’t moved forward effectively. Too many people, like Boehner and McConnell, don’t try because they think it won’t make a difference.

Your understanding of the process that picks a speaker is lacking. If Boehner can’t get enough Republican votes to remain as speaker, the Republicans will simply find someone who can. Under no condition will any majority political party permit anything else from happening. They always have the votes to make the speaker someone of their party. They won’t sit still for any one, like Boehner, trying to use Democratic votes to survive. If he does so, the Republicans will dump him.

When we ask ourselves why is everything political 180 degrees from what common sense would say was reasonable, why would that be? What if there was a fact or a strong indication that one party (the Republicans) was complicit in something so offensive to the American people that it would spell total destruction of the two party system and the Republican organization and that fact or indication was being used to leverage them (read blackmail) to allow this one sided crazy situation to exist when the Republicans have real power recently given to them by the people and they are actually sitting on their hands to allow it?

Obama clears out of Iraq and in time total chaos ensues and Islamic refugees flood into the Christian dominated country’s of Europe and America.

Remember, this is crazy land but this forced acceptance of people further accomplishes the goal of culturally blending the entire world where there are no borders and the U.N. now has dominion over those blended people.
