Tonight (May 3) the “John Batchelor Show” has instantly become “CBS Eye On the World”. That suggests to me that Mr Batchelor is losing his independence and editorial control. You go from being the owner of the show to just another (expendable) host. Remember CBS is the absolutely quintessential establishment, maistream media network – the network of Murrow and Cronkhite.
