I’ve seen the same 3 pictures getting used over and over. Normally something like this would have tons of pictures show the real damage.

I was a youngster when Arecibo was commissioned, and I recall that the suspended structure was much simpler and smaller in appearance than that of today’s. I wonder how much the weight of it has grown over time, and whether the load margins originally designed in have been maintained?
