No, ESA has no ambition to ever send any “spationauts” anywhere. They instead go all in for the Deep Space Gateway to Nowhere. Sad.

ken anthony: Actually, ESA does want to build a lunar colony, and have been pushing for this for several years. It is why they are strong supporters of NASA’s Deep Space Gateway concept.

Kind of mass production, which has lowered per piece costs somewhat. But that has a hard time to compete with reusable refurbishments.

Ariane 6 seems to be more about where tax monies are channeled, than what launch capabilities are actually created.
