A midcourse correction is most definitely needed in order to get to the Moon.

Whatever happened to President Bush’s goal of getting back to the Moon? Oh, that’s right. We lost the most important election of our lifetimes, in 2008, and Constellation was cancelled. Now we are stuck with that election’s winner’s attitude: “been there, done that.” Except that we didn’t really do “that;” we only did a minimal something, and the rest of us are eager to do more. Apollo was like going on a business trip but not leaving the airport. Now we want to go back and do business.
