You are right, transporting the guns by plane is almost unbelievably stupid, but then, criminals don’t usually choose that line of work because of their brains.

For some reason this just sounds like an ATF/FBI set up.

They could have move hundreds of weapons into NY in a moving van all at once with far less risk.

This was just a bad idea.

I had no idea NY troopers were stopping cars just to search for firearms coming into the state.
