All this gives me the impression that the administration wants NASA to focus on one major task and forget all the rest – except those specifically mandated by Congress.

The month is clicking by…..there were only 15 legislative days scheduled for this month. A lot of them have gone by. If Congress is really interested in specific language to save missions in the appropriations bill it better hurry up. Otherwise, as Robert Z says, the CR will be passed and then the administration is completely free to spend the money any way they want.
