Ah yes, that ubiquitous, invisible sludge that is both nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Messing with gravity, throwing off calculations and yet completely undetectable except when there is an error in the math.

We only have to wait another 232 million years to know what it’s like “now.” For all we know, it’s not even there anymore.
That’s the most interesting aspect of the picture.
