It was also the name of a four-ship sub-class of IJN destroyers built in the early 1930s that served during WW2. Three were lost in action. The namesake of the class was lost in action on the night of Nov. 12, 1942, the first night of what came to be known as The Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.
