China, believe it or not, reminds me of 1950’s America—they have an identity, and don’t settle:

While we value individuality, there is a Japanese saying that the nail that stands out will be hammered down.

In the West, we have been sold that diversity is strength—but some are questioning that:

China wants its identity to be as a world leader…Japan is overripe.

To me, a NewSpacer is someone who feels that rockets should not be expendable, but institutions, jobs and human lives are.

What makes China so frightening is also what makes them so formidable.

Institutions are more important than individuals 
—and stability is more important than justice.

It&#039;s a very good thing to see that some of them are seeing the obvious way ahead and advocating for it. But as mentioned above, the clammy hand of government will surely snake its way back onto the levers and into the coffers over time.]]></description>
