Genesis cover

On Christmas Eve 1968 three Americans became the first humans to visit another world. What they did to celebrate was unexpected and profound, and will be remembered throughout all human history. Genesis: the Story of Apollo 8, Robert Zimmerman's classic history of humanity's first journey to another world, tells that story, and it is now available as both an ebook and an audiobook, both with a foreword by Valerie Anders and a new introduction by Robert Zimmerman.

The print edition can be purchased at Amazon. from any other book seller, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. The ebook is available everywhere for $5.99 (before discount) at amazon, or direct from my ebook publisher, ebookit. If you buy it from ebookit you don't support the big tech companies and the author gets a bigger cut much sooner.

The audiobook is also available at all these vendors, and is also free with a 30-day trial membership to Audible.

"Not simply about one mission, [Genesis] is also the history of America's quest for the moon... Zimmerman has done a masterful job of tying disparate events together into a solid account of one of America's greatest human triumphs."--San Antonio Express-News

Justice Dept Inspector General makes criminal referral against McCabe

While Robert Mueller desperately searches (without success) for some crime he can pin on Donald Trump, an actual criminal referral has been issued by the inspector general of the Justice Department (an Obama appointee) against fired FBI official Andrew McCabe.

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog has sent a criminal referral for fired FBI official Andrew McCabe to the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington. The move follows a recent DOJ inspector general report that found McCabe leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to then-Director James Comey and federal investigators, prompting Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire him on March 16.

A source confirmed to Fox News that the referral was sent.

This story follows yesterday’s where almost a dozen members of Congress called for criminal investigations by the Justice Department against Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and a number of other FBI officials involved in abusing their positions of power to spy on the presidential campaign of their political opponents. It appears that the some people in Washington are finally getting up the nerve to actually consider prosecuting these violators of the Constitution and the rule of law.

As I said yesterday, in a sane world the entire journalist world would go nuts covering the recommendation that a former Secretary of State and presidential candidate as well as the fired head of the FBI both be investigated for criminal activity. In the past this story would garner giant screaming headlines and wall-to-wall coverage. We no longer live in a sane world however.

Please consider supporting my work here at Behind the Black. Your support allows me the freedom and ability to analyze objectively the ongoing renaissance in space, as well as the cultural changes -- for good or ill -- that are happening across America. Fourteen years ago I wrote that SLS and Orion were a bad ideas, a waste of money, would be years behind schedule, and better replaced by commercial private enterprise. Only now does it appear that Washington might finally recognize this reality.

In 2020 when the world panicked over COVID I wrote that the panic was unnecessary, that the virus was apparently simply a variation of the flu, that masks were not simply pointless but if worn incorrectly were a health threat, that the lockdowns were a disaster and did nothing to stop the spread of COVID. Only in the past year have some of our so-called experts in the health field have begun to recognize these facts.

Your help allows me to do this kind of intelligent analysis. I take no advertising or sponsors, so my reporting isn't influenced by donations by established space or drug companies. ITS COMING.

I’d like to see Lois Lerner and everyone in the IRS whose hard drive suddenly failed.

As several pundits have said, the actions taken during and since the 2016 election are so much worse than Watergate.

As for the first link, about the search of Michael Cohen’s home, office, and hotel room plus the seizure of attorney-client material, I have heard that payments for silence do not fall under campaign contribution laws, as determined from a Nixon payment from his campaign funds. Nixon got into trouble for using campaign money to obtain someone’s silence. If the search was only for the Stormy Daniels issue, then the action was far beyond unreasonable.

A HIGH LEVEL DEMOCRAT CORRECTLY DEFINES COMEY’S ACTIONS

This is a reasonable assessment by Hillary’s communications director, Jennifer Palmeri, of James Comey’s mistakes and inability to remember what his job actually was as a government employee and not an Attorney General or empowered politician.

    https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/04/21/james-comey-book-review-clinton-jennifer-palmieri-218061

Comey’s “Goodness” and “Best intentions” or egomania and self delusion, I can not choose between them, probably a combination of many complex justifications that he chose to confuse himself with. Mainly driven by Loretta Lynches inappropriate tarmac meeting with the husband of Hillary Clinton, Comey’s main illegal email server suspect at the time, Bill Clinton.

That intentional compromising act by Bill Clinton of Lynch on the tarmac IMO was designed either to intimidate and offer Lynch a bribe as the continuing Attorney General in the coming Hillary administration if the meeting was not found out by the public, or was a brilliant (?) way for Bill Clinton to take Lynch out of the decision making process if the meeting was discovered because they needed her as the continuing Attorney General for their purposes of controlling the DOJ because of their many previous corrupt acts. The first scenario seems the more likely to me though.

St. Comey, the sword of self righteous justice that cut both ways equally and may well have thrown the election to Trump after the corruption and deceit of the political world was laid open for all of America and the people of the world to see by Bill Clinton’s attempts to protect his wife’s political ambitions as they began to self destruct.

Karma and the universe works in mysterious ways and can be a female dog (Not disparage female dogs who are as a general rule, good).

    (hey)

I’m so sick of all these people— the only thing I ever want to hear, on any of them, ever again?

–That the plane to Gitmo has landed, and everyone is in their separate cell, awaiting execution. (live on c-span 1, 2, and 3.)

Obama had 8 solid years to carry out his revolution, (While Boehner & Mitch funded it all, 110%) and we’re only worrying about a tiny fraction of all this stuff, and just over the past 2 years?

    Wayne,

Not to worry, they despise you just as strongly as you despise them. I am going to post a comment later that will demonstrate it well.

  • Cotour

Here, Wayne, listen, Liberal Democrats think you are stupid and unintelligent, even Jordan Petersen is on board with the “You are stupid” for electing Trump narrative.

    https://youtu.be/mqSMgp0G0bg 8min.

And I, just like you and many more in America view things in an entirely counter interpretation for the most part.

Trumps a clown, Trump aspires to be a dictator, Trump this, Trump that, and it is all based in Trumps way of speaking but not based in actual actions. Now Trump SAYS things that get me going now and then even though I understand his mentality and and his techniques but these Liberals on this Bill Maher panel base most all of their opinions on their visceral emotional reaction to Trump’s speech. They are all like little hateful girls, men and women alike.

I point out that even though Trumps nature may be to become a dictator, like any American president may aspire to, he / they could never accomplish that because of the existence of one thing, the Constitution. A president can say what ever they please no matter who might like it or not like it and ultimately he would pay the price at the ballot box in one way or another. As long as the Constitution is in place and functioning as in counter balancing what the president can and more importantly can not do then all of this “Dictator” hand wringing is just that and it adds up to nothing other than a meme or a political narrative.

These Liberals yearn for the “good old days” of George Bush Jr. or Nixon compared to the days of Trump, now think about that for bit. What I hear them saying is that they were very happy with the trajectory of the country when it was hurtling towards the wonderful George Soros / George H.W. Bush “New World Order” and the “Globalization” of the world to a U.N. directed world model. And that to me is a non starter and acts of treason.

So these Liberals viscerally hate you and I and how you and I think because Trump represents them surrendering their “progress” towards Globalization / No borders / Forced illegal immigration / Universal income / The culture of dependency / The welfare state / No second Amendment and all of the many other anti American beliefs and activities that they profess to and delude themselves with.

So you hate me and those who just do not agree with you, you hate me and them good, but in my experience anyone who has stood up to me on the subject matter at hand has gone down in defeat when properly confronted and pushed back on. Most do not really understand their professed position, it is mostly based in pure emotion and bumper sticking like thinking.

And what does that tell you? Who is “Stupid”?

I will be sticking with Trump.

TWO SETS OF LAWS MUST BE RECONCILED

I pointed out long ago that the two sets of laws essentially created by James Comey expressly for the accommodation of Hillary Clinton, his assumed next boss and president of the United States, must at some point be reconciled. This article by Victor David Hansen illustrates in detail how there are still two sets of laws in operation and he lists all of the counter intuitive double standards that are being applied.

(Rush is using this article today and going over it line by line)

    https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/04/mueller-investigation-double-standard-ignores-actual-lawbreakers/

These wheels are grinding slowly but on they grind and in time the reconciliation must occur no matter who falls on which ever side. This must happen for all our good.

  • Cotour

    And the wheels grind slowly.

And they are moving, however grudgingly.

The difference between the Pedestrian realm and the Political realm in practice:

    http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/385080-ethics-committee-admonishes-menendez-saying-he-broke-federal-law

In the Political realm you are “Admonished”, in the Pedestrian realm you go to jail for 20 years. Now do you understand how things work?

Laws are shaped so that in the Pedestrian realm, a court or jury could not easily come to a conclusion about guilt related to an empowered politician and these empowered politicians are in turn judged in the Political realm by their fellow inhabitants of the Political realm. A very exclusive club.

I have had lawyers argue with me that there is no such thing as the Political realm and the Pedestrian realm, they have argued that law is the law. Law is law in the Pedestrian realm where its more of a black and white issue, however we clearly see here that Senator Menendez is without doubt guilty of many offences but was unable to be judged in the Pedestrian realm.

And why is that? Because the people in the end must judge those in the Political realm at the ballot box, there are consequences to elections and those who have violated their trust with the people need to be disciplined by them as needed. Although the pedestrian law does seem to have been stacked in the favor of the Politicians as of late.

Fair? (No, its not fair or just or perfect) Its not so much fair as that this is how our system has been designed so that the people and their representatives interact and it is ultimately the people who mete out consequences for bad acts committed by those who they have entrusted with their sacred trust.

    ITS COMING.
