Trump is merely defending himself when something he says is questioned. I do not see him as another Reagan, because Reagan not only knew what conservatism was and why it works so well, but he could articulate these points.

Trump has no idea what conservatism is, much less why it works. Instead, his policies are to punish his enemies and reward his friends. When a company moves work overseas, he wants to punish them with tariffs. Anyone who agrees with his is publicly praised by him, anyone who disagrees feels his wrath.

Many seem to be cheering when he slaps his wrath onto other liberal Democrats, because they misinterpret it as defending conservatism, when the reality is that Trump is only defending himself. When he is defending something that looks like conservatism, it is merely accidental.

Reagan entered into the political world after he had been a conservative for a while and after he could — and did — articulate its virtues. Trump is still trying to figure out whether he should continue pretending to be a conservative.

Trump is mentally transforming all seven billion brains in the world. He is creating a completely new way of looking at the leftists, at the news propaganda filter, at America and race and gender and climate. White males beginning to think about what is good, for the first time since the Roman emperor Constantine and his introduction of the self hating doomsday slave religion of Christianity. Trump realizes how very very easy it is to conquer the entire world. Only losing self-defeating idiots stand between him and total victory, and he has already mowed down most of them simply by breathing at them.

I am enjoying it, immensely. I will not deny.
But that will wear off relatively fast for me.

Except that over the past half century they have organized an effective takeover of the US government and US schools. This started with organized hippy protests of virtually anything that came to their minds. War, peacekeepers, police, business, joblessness, elections, arrests of criminals, convictions of criminals, acquittals of innocents, whatever.

Trump’s advantage is that he is a liberal Democrat, and he is using liberal Democrat tactics on liberal Democrats. They have rarely had to take a dose of their own medicine, so they have no idea how to take it, despite dishing it out all their lives.

Thus far, he has crushed everyone. From the neocons to the democrats, I don’t think either of them has ever been as weak as they are today after 1½ years fighting Trump. MSM is failing technologically, economically and in trustworthiness. The stupid corrupt foreign leaders are up next, that will actually be easier. Now he has the by far greatest military and economy behind him, and he will take on other nations one-on-one. Guys like Putin have no experience outside of KGB-like corruptocracy and is only interested in putting his subjects’ monies in his own pockets. No European leader has ever accomplished anything, they are all very stupid and have always lost and failed with everything. The Chinese might be a more interesting challenge. But by surrounding them with allies like Japan, Russia, India and really all countries except Pakistan and Burma, they will be isolated, and by China’s total dependency on exporting consumer goods to the US, and on the US bonds they’ve stupidly accepted as payment for it, they will be screwed. Hard.

Trump is playing to win. Or as he puts it: win win win! And he does. See, this is beyond traditional politics like ideologies and special interests. For him now the definition of winning is identical to the interest of the US in the history books. That’s the biggest game in the world and that’s why he has taken upon himself the challenge to win it.

The point is not the freedom to choose where to shop or do business. The point is that when donation lists were required to be made public, the case before the Supreme Court pointed out that exactly this type of intimidation could easily be the result of such publicly available information.

The point is that these boycotts are intended to intimidate and interfere with elections.

The point is that donating to one side or the other can — and has — result in the donor losing his job.

The point is that despite the right to shop — or not — where one chooses, there is no right to intimidate someone in his political views or support.
