– Without changes like this everyone (even the White House) is projecting Medicare, Social Security, etc will be unfundable in 10-20 years (there’s literally no combination of Taxes or policy changes that can provide the money they would require) so without something like this pretty quickly, Social security benefits won’t kick in until your pushing 80, and medicare will cover very little at all ( and the country will be bankrupt).

So though Dems are already rolling out new commercials attacking Ryan as wanting to throw grany off a cliff, they don’t seriously argue that Granny has a prayer of keeping her coverage without things like this going on line really fast!
