The FBI & CIA managed the coverup with a “heavy hand”, the NTSB went along, and Boeing & TWA also cooperated. Evidence & witness testimonies were suppressed or altered.
It may be the case that “leniencies” (or “license”) were granted to Boeing, to go along with the coverup. The 737 Max fiasco may have precipitated from this “devil’s bargain”. I am speculating here, but stimulated by what I have read & heard.
