These texts are from 2 September 2016, and on 5 September President Obama met directly with President Putin at the G20 gathering in China and warned him to discontinue Russian interference in the election. Around this time the FBI and DHS were briefing both the White House and Congress on Russian interference, and it would be reasonable for the POTUS to want “to know everything” before confronting his Russian counterpart. That part sounds reasonable to me.

Didn't Obama also say "Period" right after lying to us that we could keep our doctors and our healthcare plans? He said that lie time after time, too. It sounds like he sometimes gives a second clue as to when he is lying (other than his lips moving) and a third clue when he repeats himself over and over again and again. It seems that the more emphatic Obama is, the less truthful he is.

My point was simply that, although many media outlets proclaimed the former president’s caution in Syria, the truth is quite different – he was hands on, and we can see the results.
