Took long enough to get there! We really need to invest in better propulsion technology if we are going to routinely access deep space and keep the public interested and scientists alive long enough to see the fruits of their labor.

Also, New Horizons should have been designed to be an orbiting mission. You are spending all this time and money for a fly-by….seems to me it would have been worth it to make it an orbital mission. Extra cost/mass for sure, but it would have been worth it since the Pluto system has turned out to be more interesting than we thought.
