Part of the problem we have with discussing politics today, is the Lefts total twisting of the vocabulary and language of history.

Marxists preach international-revolution, but in a country with a large ‘middle class’ such as the United States, the ‘working class’ is Not going to violently up rise and impose the socialist utopia.
The coup has to happen gradually and with the support of the “middle class.’
Nazi’s were nationalist-socialists, Marxists were internationalist-socialists.

Illinois might be worst off because it has no ready source of fresh immigrants with which to backfill its losses of native population.

New York is not doing too well in this respect either. Upstate is, increasingly, a series of ghost towns. Even NYC has pretty much just been treading water in terms of total population since the 50’s. Immigrants, especially from the Caribbean islands, continue to displace whites and blacks with deeper roots in the state, but even Puerto Rico is not a bottomless source of new New Yorkers – there are already more Puerto Ricans in the NY-NJ NYC metroplex than there are remaining in Puerto Rico itself.

California, where I have lived for 45 years, has been bleeding long-term residents – and backfilling with recent arrivals mainly from Mexico – for the most recent 30 of those years. The annual rate is now above 500K and will soon be 600K the way things are going. California’s once vigorous population growth has pretty much plateaued and, after this year’s upcoming census, and the legislative redistricting it will usher in, CA is all but certain to lose U.S. Congressional seats for the first time in its history. But the losses of CA Congressional seats in 2022 will likely be dwarfed by those coming in 2032 as Pres. Trump’s border control measures and anti-illegal immigration diplomatic efforts begin to bite and are carried on after he leaves office.

Given that California used to be a reliably Republican state, I don’t think the exodus of what I like to call the “Reverse Okies” in recent years has necessarily been turning their destination states as Blue as some have alleged. Much of said exodus seems to have been by people who are still Republicans, but no longer, alas, CA Republicans.

That isn’t to say that influxes of freshly emigrated Californians haven’t caused some problems in their new states of residence. One is that increasing demand has driven up home prices rapidly in certain Western states. The way I see it, natives of those states who complain about this, and who used to also complain that their states were losing all their young people to CA and NY have some deciding to do anent what their preferred problem is to have.

The “old” definition of Fascism you provide is, in fact, the revisionist version that the Left has been flogging for decades. Fascism is not, in any sense, a “right-wing” political philosophy. It was invented as the first form of national socialism by Benito Mussolini who, before inventing Fascism, had been one of the leading theoreticians of the international socialist movement – a Marxist movement.

International socialism of the Marxist variety was, and is, a “One-World” movement. The various forms of national socialism – mainly Fascism in Italy and Nazism in Germany – were also socialist movements, just ones with a strong nationalistic component and, in the case of Nazism, crack-brained “racial theory.”

Prior to WW2, both Mussolini and Hitler had many admirers among leftists in the U.S. – including the Nazi race theory stuff. One of FDR’s cabinet secretaries – I forget which one – even had a portrait of Mussolini on his office wall. Even Hitler’s policy of euthanizing the incurably ill, the mentally defective and the members of “inferior” races was endorsed by U.S. leftist advocates of eugenics such as Margaret Sanger who founded Planned Parenthood with the idea of eventually rendering the U.S. free of blacks.

The idea that Fascism/Nazism was/is a “right-wing” political philosophy was a lie that U.S. and European leftists started promulgating after WW2 as part of their attempt to put the erstwhile Nazi-Soviet Pact of 1939 down the Orwellian memory hole and cast Fascism/Nazism as antithetical to socialism/communism/Marxism. All complete balderdash of course.

The Soviets had the Komsomol and the Nazis had the Hitler Youth. The Nazis also had something fairly similar, if much more militaristic, to the American Depression-era Works Progress Administration (WPA) and Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), both products of the early Roosevelt administration. In Leni Riefenstahl’s classic pro-Nazi propaganda film Triumph of the Will, there is a brief vignette showing one of these quasi-military “civilian” formations doing something pretty much like close order drill only with shovels, not rifles. The translated narration reads like something out of the Communist Manifesto.

There are centralist, authoritarian forms of right-wing government – royalism and hereditary aristocracy being the main one of historical consequence – but Fascism and Nazism are not numbered among these.

The money machine that is Wall Street and all the rest gives a “Progressive” like DeBlasio and a Liberal like Cuomo the tax base and cash flow to monkey around and pander to their fellow Liberals, Leftists and those in the culture of dependency to keep it all going.

Without that massive money machine these operatives and political panderers would be dead in the water. These politcos need people held in the dark clutches of poverty in order to survive. What a cynical way to live ones life. To be forced to promote the darkness of poverty and dependency over the light of hard work and the freedom of true personal empowerment to make one relevant.

The rest of Upstate, with the exception of Corning, to the Canadian Border and to Buffalo is an economic wasteland.

So people, knowing they can do better working, rather than living as wards of the state are headed out if they can afford it.

And the more rational and every day Americans who define themselves as being a part of the Democrat party are all forced to take the Socialist and really Fascistic ride. This is “Social Justice”. And then these operatives accuse the Right of being fascist. What they in fact are doing they accuse their opponents of doing, we have seen this very clearly in the last three years in America related to the “Russia Collusion” / Mueller investigation when it has clearly been the Democrats and Hillary herself who have been in collusion with and receiving masses of millions from the Russians and not Trump.

This is what the Left accuses Trump of being and he is nothing of the sort. And now they have legislative majorities in several states and the every day American Democrats are now faced with a clear choice. What will they do?

I sure like the actions of those in the CoC in Texas. We are not going to tolerate this terrorism for what ever reason. The mother of the stabbing of the Rabbi said he was a gentle giant: Really?

Liberals tend to think that it was their liberal policies that made their states great. They forget that their states were built by and on capitalism for hundreds of years before modern liberalism came about. Since modern liberalism has come about in the 1960’s the quality of life in those areas has gone down. More crime, more poverty, more gap between the haves and have knots.
But as long as the wealthy liberals have a louder voice than the poor they will go on thinking they have all the correct answers.
Now they are bringing those very same liberal policies with them when they move in retirement.

If you are responding to me I have extensively reported on and pointed out the folly and destructive nature of the “Progressive” agenda and how it destroys law and order and calls it “Social Justice” and “Equality” both in NYC and specifically in Seattle which is the model for what is now coming to New York in a new and more enabled manner.

Who would want to live where you can get robbed and the police can do nothing.
