The Affordable Care Act (pause for laughter), AKA Obamacare, is unconstitutional as written, even though the Supreme Court unconstitutionally rewrote the act in order to pretend that it was constitutional (on at least one occasion).

The method of its passage in Congress is also unconstitutional, in that the Senate unconstitutionally completely rewrote from scratch a House bill (bills that allocate moneys must originate in the House, not the Senate) so that the House could “deem” – rather than vote – that it passed the House (to deem a bill as having passed is not constitutional).

Did I mention the "bribery" that occurred in the Senate in order to get votes for the bill?

Signing it was not necessarily an impeachable act, but the President and the Supreme Court are supposed to protect us from Congressional abuses – both failed. (Congress and the Supreme Court are likewise supposed to protect us from Presidential abuses, too, but they fail at that all the time. And who is protecting us from Supreme Court abuses?)

On the other hand, impeaching Obama risks leaving us with Biden. *Shudder*

On the third hand, Congress and the Supreme Court may be more willing to protect us from that idiot.

Obamacare and all of the accompanying lies, upon lies thrown in with the lies associated with the economy, the executive orders and something like the Syria situation all piling up over the next two to three years might just push even his staunchest supporters to seriously consider it.

I just received a letter from an extremely liberal Democrat Congressman explaining why he will not be voting to support the president on the Syria issue. Thats big.

Yes I know Obamacare itself is not an impeachable event. (they should all be impeached for it)

JGL,

Obamacare is not an impeachable offense. It is vile, incompetent, socialist, and plotting towards a National Health Service here, but not impeachable. Those offenses are quite distinctly defined in the Constitution. The rest of it requires a Republican Party willing to resist their fears of repeating their debacle of impeaching Clinton. They do not have the simple courage needed.

As to the point about the movie industry, I believe the post states it correctly. The people in the industry want health insurance, but they want paying work more than that. It is obvious inside the industry that you get far less work if you are not "progressive", and donating towards "progressive" causes. The key is that having their insurance dropped will only heighten their need to get jobs through the same progressive networks they get them through today. They will not dare break with those networks till the industry collapses.

Who here thinks that at some point in the next three years that the impeachment of the president becomes a reality, no, necessity, and not an unthinkable?

Obamacare is about to implode and further destroy the economy and the peoples freedom, it appears that although he has asked the Congress to vote on attacking Syria (his presidential version of voting "present" and shedding any responsibility for anything) and at this moment in time no one is displaying any confidence in his abilities or justification in such matters (current vote assessment, 217 to 44 against). Think of the implications if he decided to go to Congress and then after being rejected going ahead with an attack. I could list many more reasons.

Think of how this plays out in the course of the next three years.
