They admin in one case said that these individual organizations were doing things that should be entrusted to the gov. So really, running volunteer fire departments would to them be a plus – since it would turn those functions over to professional firefighters.

…ok It really means those areas will lose all fire services – but the Admin doesn’t get those obvious details.
