The global warming theory does not stand up to scientific examination. Not real examination.

The followers believe in it like a new religion. Professors are the new priests. Scientists are the new Cardinals. Politicians are trying to be Leaders of the Laity.

The only problem is this new religion has no commandants or precepts. Just the overall belief that Man is killing the planet.
Without commandments or precepts they have devolved into accepting any action as appropriate to reaching their goals. Violence is fine as long as it leads to their ends.
To gain power and oppress heretics they have aligned themselves with the even more illogical left.

Heck, it even says that in the passages you quote:

Computer models (averaged over the range of outputs) never predicted the glaciers at Glacier National Park would be gone by 2030.
