Comments on: Scientists who published a study last month that said they could find no evidence of dark matter in nearby interstellar space, have re-analyzed their data and found that the dark matter is apparently there.

It's incredible that such a simple assumption about what the stars are doing could make such a difference to the result. What other assumptions are similarly sensitive? Could dark matter just be an anomaly caused by philosophical assumptions about the distribution of matter in the universe and our location relative to it? Dark matter sounds like phlogiston for the 21st century. (That one took over 80 years to be shown incorrect.)
