I agree. Its about time that the “free” healthcare insurance system caused by Roosevelt’s misguided Wage and Price controls be dismantled. The progressives think they can replace it with socialism but they keep forgetting that they don’t act in a vacuum. Americans will never accept that and will react according to the laws of economics. What we need to make the transition less painless is a true conservative leader, not another establishment RINO.

There is an interview with then candidate Obama prior to the 2008 election where he tells a union group that it would be impossible to go directly to single payer, and that there would be a first step. Obamacare is it. It’s designed to fail so that the Left can state that they tried a free market approach and it didn’t work, so we must have fully socialized medicine in America. Unfortunately and sadly for American, the Republican Party has no real interesting in repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Obamacare may well be the germ that causes a market based, personally owned insurance system to be formed, and there in Obama and his brand of care will have served its purpose.
